The practice first opened it's doors on the 8th September 1969.

Since that time the practice has developed into a national award winning family dental practice with prevention very much at the heart of our aims and objectives.

Situated in Sonning Common, we provide dental care across Berkshire and are close to Henley-on-Thames and Caversham.

Our philosophy

Our team of highly qualified dentists and well trained support staff are committed to providing the best dental care and dental education for you and your family. We believe that the care we provide should be personalised for every individual and our staff are always happy to answer any questions or concerns that you have. We believe in making dentistry fun for children (and adults!) so that they can relax and (yes) even enjoy the experience.

We adhere to the highest clinical standards and as a result Denplan have awarded us their coveted 'Excel' status. We are also registered with the care quality commission.

We take cross infection very seriously and our techniques for sterilization far surpass the minimum standards required of us.

Feel free to ask any member of our clinical staff for details of our cross infection policy.

Enjoy using our website. We hope that you will find it informative and a useful communication tool to help get the most out of your membership of our practice.

Our commitment

1. Care as individual as you are
We will tailor your care to suit you. Successful dentistry depends on a team approach. We will always fully discuss your needs to find a solution that you are happy with

2. High quality treatment
Our dentists all have postgraduate training and areas of special interest so you have access to some of the best quality care in the South East.

3. Prevention
We won't just treat active disease, but also work with you to prevent new problems occurring. More time spent on education and hygiene visits means less time having treatment. So lower costs to you and a sense of achievement for you and our team.

4. Clear fees and detailed treatment plans
We understand how important your smile is to you, however we also understand how important it is for you to be fully informed and confident in every stage of your treatment. We therefore have a clear fee structure in place and provide a detailed treatment plan to every patient. FREE NHS care for children under 18 years old.
